    I have wifi in the shop, but my MaxisysPro will not connect to it. It is a cisco setup, WPA with preshared key. My iphone, laptop etc connect to it just fine, but my Autel says "authorization failure" when I enter the key to join (which I know Im typing in right).

    the Maxisys has no problems connecting to the office Wifi just not the shop wifi. Forget asking the IT guys, they said "well it works for everything else, must be a problem with your tool" and I guess they're right.   Office is WPA2 but shop is WPA I think. Any suggestions?

     Ensure you shop WIFI runs b/g/n, so from 11 to 300 Mbts standards.
    I do not know of the MS906 or co. work on 300Mbts (n) or only on the 54 Mbts (g) standard.

    Also to check is WPA TKIP or AES for the encryption.

    Use "Mixed Moded" for both should work fine.
